Strawberry Fields Festival

Strawberry Fields Festival has a long history working cooperatively and successfully with Treecreds to set, and then achieve, sustainability targets.

First engaged in 2012 to run its carbon carpass program, it was a voluntary program where 296 passes were purchased by incoming attendees.  Fast-forward to 2017, Treecreds coordinated a comprehensive onsite sustainability assessment, conducted detailed transport data collection and analysis, coordinated a mandatory carpass program and invested in 321 carbon credits to achieve an impressive offset of 97% of transport emissions.

Some excellent advances made my Strawberry Fields Festival over the years include: achieving a total of 28 return coach buses to and from the festival in 2017 and thus avoiding 45 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions, purchase of hundreds of forest-based carbon credits since 2012, vocal and forward thinking recycling initiatives and dozens of local community engagement events. More to come they promise.

Treecreds looks forward to celebrating their mutual 10 year birthday celebration in 2018.
