Strawberry Fields Festival

Strawberry Fields Festival is an annual celebration of art, sound and creative expression.  After an enforced pandemic hibernation, 2022 is set to be a huge one.   In March 2022, Strawberry Fields, Wildland, will be hosted back in Tocumwal, NSW over two weekends and will showcase an all-Australian lineup for the very first time.

Treecreds has a long history working together with the Strawberry Fields organisers and we are proud to announce that this year will be our sustainability partnership’s 10 year  anniversary.  First engaged in 2012 to run a carbon-carpass program, it started as a voluntary program where just 296 passes were purchased by incoming vehicles.  Over the years, the collective effort of festival organisers, coach coordinators and gate crew with Treecreds support to promote sustainable transportation has resulted in a notable increase of attendees opting to travel in coaches instead of driving private cars. All vehicles and buses are required to offset travel and Strawberry Fields take responsibility for offsetting the official Strawberry Fields charter bus to and from the event.

Treecreds continue to source carbon credits for SF in 2022, which will be used to introduce mandatory vehicle passes for private cars, as well as offsetting all the emissions of the charter buses.

Strawberry Fields audit the entire event through our friends at A Greener Festival , and year on year continue to strive to improve their environmental performance.
