Money Mob Talkabout

Money Mob Talkabout is a not-for-profit organisation with a vision to empower Aboriginal people and communities to achieve economic wellbeing and self-determination. They operate a money support hub in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands north west of South Australia.

In 2021, the team at Money Mob approached Treecreds to help them assess and offset the operational emissions associated with their Pawa Atunmankunytjaku (looking after power) project. This Project is a house to house education program providing support to all households in the lead up to the installation of smart meters and charging for electricity.  With Money Mob’s small office already powered through green energy, the majority of their emissions are transport emissions associated with staff travellling to and from remote areas both by road and air.
